Numbers of Interest - Television Ratings for Wednesday 12/02/09

More repeats and specials, so more weird numbers. Thursday has more new shows so they'll be more to talk about tomorrow.

Fox narrowly won the night with So You Think You Can Dance (2.3) and Glee.(3.6). After last week's lows, Glee hit a season high against weak competition.

CBS did well without their regular programming with Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer (3.8), Grammy Nomination Concert (2.3), and Criminal Minds (2.2).

NBC actually did okay with Christmas in Rockefeller Center (1.8), Law & Order: SVU (1.9), and The Jay Leno Show (1.5).

ABC is doing very well with their new comedies, but with repeats, the ratings fell drastically with a Modern Family repeat (1.7), a new The Middle (2.0), another Modern Family repeat (2.3), a Cougar Town repeat (1.8), and Eastwick (1.3). The Middle has been doing great after repeats of Modern Family and the show is looking much better for a renewal than it was after Hank. Eastwick has already been essentially canceled, but those ratings are just terrible. It even did worse than Leno.
